About Osmanthus Falling Steam Key:

Osmanthus Blossoms Falling is a narrative puzzle game about a hearing-impaired elderly woman. The story takes place in a county town in central China. Players take on the role of a grandmother with hearing loss, on her last day in her hometown before her daughter takes her to the provincial capital for medical treatment. Before leaving, she bids farewell to her old friends. If I grow old one day, will I also imagine sounds like this?Approximately 5% of the global population suffers from disabling hearing loss, with the elderly facing a particularly severe problem. *Osmanthus Blossoms Fall* uses ambiguous text to simulate hearing loss, allowing players to truly feel its impact and experience life from the perspective of a contemporary elderly person in China. The world is quiet, but I can feel the presence of sound.People with acquired hearing loss often imagine sounds through vision. The grandmother, played by the player, can find corresponding sounds by observing dynamic images in the scene and uses the game's visual recording system to feel the presence of sound. This is my home, I know everything here. The setting of *Osmanthus Blossoms Fall* is a county town in central China, featuring once-glorious but gradually dilapidated old streets, shops in urban villages facing demolition in the city center, and new residential areas built with economic development… It offers a glimpse into the changes in Chinese county towns over the past two or three decades and a contemporary picture of life. I'm leaving here, goodbye to my friends.Grandma's life has been a series of farewells to various people and events. In her youth, the factory closed, gradually estranged her from her friends; in middle age, her daughter left home for school; and in her old age, she left the county town where she had lived for many years. The grandmother who once saw others off is now the one being seen off. In a conversation with a friend, she recalls an unfulfilled wish buried deep in her heart…
