You can get caught halfway through a game when it leaves GamePass; it's like a streaming service in that respect. However, Gamepass users do get a discount in the Store if you play something and miss it once it's gone. Honestly, I cannot think of a downside to GamePass. It's an incredible service.

The way they do this now is even better. They used to have to go through emails and links but now you get your code straight away soon as you press pay, it’s there ‘get code’. You redeem it on the Xbox store and you have your purchase.

You not only get access to many top level games over a year for basically the cost of buying 2 games but you also have access to a massive library of older and indie games that you might never consider buying but have a chance to play.
