A new adventure

Phantom Liberty is a much-anticipated DLC to the highly praised action RPG developed by CD Projekt Red. The expansion is a follow-up to the original game and features the player's character, V, once again as the protagonist.

Plot

Phantom Liberty's plotline reads like an electrifying spy thriller, pulsing with intrigue and unexpected twists across the dystopian reality of Cyberpunk. When the President of the New United States of America's vessel is shot down over Night City, only V can save them. The DLC is overflowing with fresh content, from countless quests and collectibles to an array of fascinating characters - including NUSA sleeper agent, Solomon Reed, played by Idris Elba. What's more, Phantom Liberty unlocks a brand new district in Night City, but beware, it's under the dominant grip of the ruthless militia Dogtown.

Premiere date

Phantom Liberty was unveiled in September 2022, with its premiere date announced at the Xbox Showcase in June 2023. The long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 DLC was scheduled to release on September 26, 2023, available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S|X. Unfortunately, players with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are unable to play Phantom Liberty.
