Monster on rails

Choo-Choo Charles is a horror game developed and published by Two Star Games. Your ultimate goal is to summon and defeat the eponymous Charles, a spider-train hybrid from the scariest nightmares. To complete this mission, you must explore an open-world island to find weapons and parts that let you turn your trusty train into a railway fortress, a worthy adversary for Charles.

Play the way you like

Completing optional and story missions will grant you priceless pieces that let you strengthen your train's armor and increase its firepower. Moreover, you will have to collect three artifacts required to summon Charles for the final showdown. You can achieve those goals using stealth techniques or a frontal attack. It's up to you if you prefer to hide in the shadows or shoot and run over your enemies. However, you have to be vigilant all the time because the monster and his cultists will try to thwart your plans.

Release date

Choo-Choo Charles originally came out for PC on December 9, 2022. Almost exactly a year later, on December 21, 2023, the indie horror arrived on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X. The release of the Nintendo Switch version was scheduled for January 18, 2024.
