What is Autokey?

Autokey is the name of the unique Digital Delivery system that CJS-CDKeys.com built and use to dispatch items to customers. If you find an 'Autokey' system anywhere else, it is a rip-off! CJS are proud to be the original designers and creators of the Autokey system.  It is an online system which allows customers to collect their purchased codes with ease.

Does Autokey generate the codes?

No.  Our system does not generate the codes, it simply stores them and dispatches them to customers as required.  When you collect a code from autokey, it simply grabs a key from our stock, assigns it to your order, and displays it to you.  The Autokey system itself does not generate the codes, CJS CD Keys staff upload the codes taken from retail boxes to the Autokey System.

How do I use Autokey?

CJS CD Keys have taken care to design the Autokey system in a way that is as easy as possible for the customer to use.

Immediately after your payment, you will be redirected from the payment screen back to our website, where you will see an order confirmation. To collect your purchased code(s), simply go to your 'Order Status' page, and click the 'Collect on Autokey' button.

If your order is marked as "Awaiting Fulfillment" It means that your order is ready for collection on autokey.  If your order is marked as "Shipped" it means that Autokey has already dispatched the code to your email, and you are free to go back to view your code on the Autokey page as many times as you wish.

I pre-ordered a game but AutoKey tells me it is out of stock

This is normal. We ship our game pre-orders approximately 2 days before the global release date of the game.  When the game arrives in stock and is uploaded to autokey, you will receive an email notification.

Autokey told me the game I purchased is out of stock.

We strive to keep all games in stock at all times but in the rare event that autokey is out of stock, our staff will always replenish autokey within approximately 12 hours.  Please be patient. You will receive an email once the autokey system has been replenished with cd keys.

Autokey said my order is not approved.

If you paid via Alertpay or your order is flagged as suspicious then our staff will manually approve your order. We will approve your order within around 2 hours in most cases.  Keys paid for via Moneybookers or Paypal will be approved instantly.

Please look at the Order Status below that corresponds to your order, in order to find out exactly what it means.

My order status is Awaiting Fulfillment

This is a normal order status that will occur immediately after you make the payment. Simply go to our autokey system and attempt to collect your key.

 

My order status is Awaiting Payment

This usually would mean that your payment did not arrive. However, if you paid via Bank Transfer, our staff will manually set your order to shipped once your payment arrives in our bank account. 

Paid via Paypal but your order is stuck on Awaiting Payment?
In rare cases, our web-system sometimes does not immediately track paypal payments that are made from customers with mis-matched email addresses.  If you have made your payment via paypal but your order is still Awaiting Payment, Please make a support ticket on our Support Center,  quoting your CJS Order ID and your unique Paypal Transaction ID.  A member of our staff will then search for your order and manually approve the order for you within around 2 hours.

 

My order status is Awaiting Pickup

This order status flags to our staff that the game you ordered needs to be manually packed / emailed.  You will get an 'awaiting pickup' status if your key is due to be manually emailed from our staff, or if you bought a physical game that is to be sent via the mail.  

If you pay with Store Credit your order will automatically go to 'Awaiting Pickup' and our team will email you the code within around 2 hours in most cases.

 

My order status is Completed

This means that your key has been manually emailed to you.  If you bought a physical game, it means the item has been shipped and you must now wait for the item to arrive in the physical mail.

 

My order status is Shipped

This order status signifies that your order is collectable on Autokey.  In most cases you will be able to collect the key on Autokey.  

If you're a first-time customer and your paypal / moneybookers account address is mis-matched to your CJS account information, you may be required to complete a simple telephone or SMS verification before you can get your key.  Just follow the simple instructions that our Autokey system gives you in order to get your key with ease.

 

My order status is Cancelled

This order status signifies that your order has been cancelled by CJS CD Keys upon your request, or if the payment did not process properly.

 

My order status is Incomplete

This order status signifies that there was an error processing your payment.  This order status usually will occur if you abort the payment process half-way through.  If your order status is 'Incomplete' then no money has been taken from you.

 

My order status is Declined

This order status signifies that your order was automatically detected to be fraudulent, and you have been refunded in full. If you get this order status but believe this to be in error, please contact us via our support ticket system for assistance.

 

My order status is Refunded

This order status signifies that your order status was refunded to you in full via Store Credit / Paypal / Moneybookers / Alertpay / Bank Transfer.

 

 

I purchased a game but did not receive any game code via email.

This is normal. We do not email the keys. You can instantly collect your activation code via our AutoKey system.

I paid via Bank Transfer but my order status is 'Awaiting Payment'.

This is normal. As soon as the money arrives to us, your order status will be marked as shipped and you will be sent the key.  Orders paid for with bank transfer are manually emailed to customers.

I paid via Paypal but my order status is stuck on 'Awaiting Payment'.

This can be caused if you paid with mismatching paypal email. If you have completed a paypal payment but your order status is still Awaiting Payment, your order may not have tracked properly. Please contact us with your order ID and tell us that you don't think the paypal order tracked properly, and one of our staff will manually approve your order for you.

I paid via Store Credit but am unable to collect my code on AutoKey.

This is normal. Please email support@cjs-cdkeys.com with your order ID and we will manually email the key for you.

Do you accept paypal?

We accept Paypal during our business hours (9am - 9pm GMT).  We do however recommend paying via our alternative payment methods such as Moneybookers, as it is safer, faster and more secure than paypal. 

 

Game Key Related Questions:

How do I activate a russian steam key?

If your game key needs activation with a VPN (such as modern warfare 3 russian) you can activate it by following the simple tutorial HERE.

Company Related Questions:

How does your company function?

Our company functions by importing the games from main distributors within the EU, where games have cheaper retail prices than in countries such as the UK. Because of the savings made in postage costs (as our items are sent digitally), it allows us to provide extremely low pricing.  Not only this, but the games work worlwide as digital downloads, unlike physical games which have region locked discs.  You can read more about our company on our About Us Page.

 

Other Questions:

When will I receive a reply to my email?

We usually respond to emails within 5 - 10 minutes, however if you email us while the office is closed it can take up to a few hours for our staff to reply.  For fastest response, please email just once. Our email operates a queuing system which means that if you email more than once, you will be sent to the back of the queue resulting in further delays.  If you email just once then you will receive a prompt reply with an answer to your query.  We do reply to all emails, so please be patient.
